Wednesday In NYC

Well we left Boston at 7:30 AM and headed out for NYC. We got to NYC at 1:00 PM and ran for the subway to make it to the play Wicked. Yahoo!!! Me on my way down to Time Square.

Mom and I outside Gershwin Theatre after Wicked. It was FABULOUS!! I loved it. I wish you all could have seen it with me. Yes, it even made my mom and I cry. Now that I have seen it I can officially say that I am very WICKED!! :)

The set of the play had a HUGE dragon triple the size of the one behind us in this picture. It was a beautiful set. We were not allowed to take pictures inside the actual theatre, so what did I do, I took a picture of the entire set on my phone of course!!

Monday & Tuesday In Bawwwston

Downtown Boston.The following few pictures are of cute streets and houses in Boston. It is the cutest city! I absolutely loved it.

Fauniel Hall. This was a very long building. It was packed front to back and up and down with cute food places and bakery's. PACKED WITH THEM!!

Paul Revere Monument.
They have cute little bakery's like this all over Boston. Restaurants and stores are just stuck in little spaces like this EVERYWHERE in the city.
Holocaust Memorial. There were 6 tall towers with mist coming out of the ground, representing the gas chambers and deaths of the holocaust. On the glass of each tower, there is 1 million numbers that were tattooed on the arms of the holocaust prisoners. It was very moving.

Mom, Dad, and I drove out to Harvard. This is one of the buildings for the school.
The Freedom Trail and all the stops along the way that we walked. 2.5 miles long.

USS Constitution. Oldest floating naval ship in the world. Built in 1797. Won 33 out of 33 battles. Nicknamed Old Iron Sides.

My mom and I after we climbed to the top of Bunker Hill Monument. 294 stairs and it was steep!! HOT AND STEEP. We are sore the day after.
I am terrified of heights. I would not stand on this grate. That tiny light at the bottom is way way down there.

A cool boat sailing in Boston Harbor. You would not believe how many sail boats there are out there.

The two tall towers in this picture have suspended rods coming out of them. This is one of the largest suspension bridges in America.

This was the place that George Washington took command of the US troops on July 31, 1773.
We went to Salem where the with trials were held. This was a sign on one of the houses. 1787...that is old. Some of our ancestors(Nathaniel Ashby) lived there, before they moved to Kirtland with the saints.

This was me in front of the dungeon for the people thought to be witches during the Salem Witch Trials. the picture above me was a display in the window. My mom and I laughed and laughed about it. It is so horrible and random!
